Profile

Olivia is a dancer who travels across the continent in a theatre troupe. In the past during one of Olivia's performances, a noble man was smitten by her and plotted to kidnap and marry her. However, Basilio stepped in and prevented this and Olivia has been grateful to him ever since.

Olivia first appears after Chrom and company successfully defeat Mustafa and leads them back to Ferox. Before the battle Olivia encounters Mustafa. Even though he finds out that she is there to help Chrom and his army, he decides to let her go. After Mustafa falls, Olivia arrives on the scene to escort the Shepherds to the carriages back to Ferox. At Ferox, after Chrom finds his new resolve to fight Gangrel, Olivia volunteers to aid his cause by dancing for them. Basilio notes that her dances invigorates the spirits of troops, causing them to work twice as hard. Chrom happily accepts Olivia's offers and she joins Chrom in his final battle with Gangrel, and his future adventures.

Several months after Olivia elopse with her spouse, Olivia joins the Shepherds when they go to help quell some bandits terrorizing a few villages near the Great Gate. Upon arrival, Olivia comes into contact with a young boy who had been helping to fight off the bandits. The boy, Inigo, is surprised by her sudden appearance which equally surprises her. Though the boy brushes her off, Olivia notices that Inigo seemed to be just as shy as her, making it easier for her to talk to him. After the battle, Inigo approaches her again and calls her by name, even though Olivia does not remember ever encountering him. Though Inigo has a hard time explaining it to her, after showing her the ring on his hand, Olivia realizes that Inigo is her future son. After slipping a comment that he is aspiring to be a dancer, Olivia shows great interest in his skills, but he is too embarrassed to show her. Likewise Olivia is too embarrassed to show him her dancing, but nevertheless, is happy to meet her future son.

After the war, Olivia's stage fright never faded, but her dances accompanied with her shy blush became legendary as she traveled throughout the world. However, this would not be the end of Olivia's life constantly growing and changing.

A few years after the war, Olivia gives birth to her son Inigo, to witch future!Inigo is happy to see turned out so healthy and wonderful. Just when she thinks her life is finally settling down and she won't have much to worry about besides dancing and taking care of her family, future!Inigo reluctantly announces to her that he'll have to leave soon. Olivia already knows this, but she is upset nonetheless. He specifies that he's traveling to a kingdom in another time with Severa and Owain, and he will be sure to visit once more before he goes back to his world for good.

While Inigo was Laslow, Olivia could not help but worry for ages. Upon his return however, she is enthusiastic to hear that Inigo is now married with a baby girl named Soleil. She's a bit reluctant at first to let him go, but knowing that he has a family of his own to take care of, really inspires Olivia to focus more on her baby Inigo, rather than grown up Laslow.

Personality

Olivia is extremely shy and withdrawn, but a dancing genius with many fans across the lands. She is shown to be insecure and a bit of a pessimistic thinker, especially when conversation comes to her own skill, and she is terrified of disappointing others. She states to Chrom that she is only good at dancing, which even then, she feels she is inadequate in doing, and this results in her stage fright. Due to her anxious demeanor, Olivia is easily startled, shown to cry out when surprised. This also displays her fear when surprised or when around strangers, likely caused by the time a noble attempted to abduct her. She can summon more of her strength than usual for the sake of others, often being judgmental and pushy in the process, and above all she wishes to make people smile. Her dream is to open her own theatre, and she is dedicated to seeing this dream realized.

Despite Olivia's shy and socially awkward demeanor, she is comfortable around the more crude and loud members of the army. This is made most obvious by her close relationship with Basilio. Although she is often painfully shy, Olivia is open about her feelings most of the time, quick to explain herself in any situation or to ask for assurance that her actions did not appear to be strange. She can overcome her anxiety to speak frankly when pushed too far or when it comes to her work; she does not, however, find it as easy to discuss more personal thoughts and feelings. While she is embarrassed by compliments and kind words, Olivia is openly affectionate and caring towards her partner, if married.

Olivia rarely speaks of her parents. This isn't because she dislikes them. It's mainly because they are an older couple who live by themselves in a village, not too far from Ferox. She always wanted to dance, but what really spurred her joining a caravan of traveling performers was to provide for her parents. Once rescued by Basilio, she felt indebted to him. But, after becoming so close to each other, Basilio helps out once more in moving her family closer to Ferox and providing them a nice place to stay. After the war, Olivia joins most of the women in finally having her child while they are in a time of peace.Olivia smells like flowers, most of the time.She mostly strays away from eating meat in camp, unless she really needs to. Knowing that an animal was hunted down and killed makes her really upset.Her alias, if she is invited by Inigo to go to Nohr with him, is Juliet.After Inigo left for Nohr, though, she couldn't help but worry constantly about him, and often found herself talking to Cordelia and Lissa, since they were experiencing the same fate.When it comes to calling Inigo "Laslow" in front of his Nohrian friends and colleagues, she tries extremely hard to get it right. However, when she slips up, she tends to panic.No matter who her son marries, she will spoil the heck out of them. She's not really an overly protective mother, but more of one that constantly worries about Inigo.She has all of Inigo's allergies memorized and gets fussy when he eats something he shouldn't.After the war, Olivia continues to dance her heart out. She performs for the Ylissean royal family, as well as for a few other nobles across the country. However, where she truly feels most welcome is when she's performing for her friends.No matter who Olivia marries, she will always construct her own musical theater in Ylisse. However, depending on who she marries, determines their role in creating it with her. Besides water, she mostly drinks tea and eats heathily, but can never resist sweets when offered up to her.Really detests alcohol.Sings both Inigo and her spouse to sleep if they're feeling unwell or had a bad dream.
